In Syracuse, NY, a nonprofit by the name of “North Side Learning Center” bought a church for pennies on the dollar. The organization claimed no religious affiliation.

Their Mission Statement

“The mission of North Side Learning Center is to aid in adult and youth literacy development, and to be instrumental in teaching self-sufficiency and self-actualization to newcomers in our community.”

Will the building be used for educational purposes? Yes, but what they didn’t say is the actual name of the organization is “North Side Learning Center Abdulilah Al-Dubai of Syracuse” and is part of a larger city wide complex devoted to Islam, including a mosque.

Churches Are Closing at a Rapid Pace

• From 2000 to 2010, the number of mosques rose from 1,209 to 2,106 despite headlines of protests
